Arvada Basement Fire

On January 16th, 2021 at 21:14 Arvada Fire Protection District responded to the 6300 block of Pierson Court on a possible residential structure fire. Engine 53 arrived to a single-story structure with light smoke in the garage, established their own water supply and pulled a 1 3/4 attack line in with Medic 56. Tower 56 pulled a 2nd line from Engine 53 to the basement for search, rescue, and fire control. Battalion 52 arrived and assumed command. Crews found a small fire in the basement, which was quickly put out and crews started the overhaul. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
