Aurora Apartment Fire

On September 28th, 2021 at approximately 13:43 Aurora 911 Emergency Communications dispatched Aurora Fire Rescue to the 17100 block of E Adriatic Place for a multi-family structure fire. Engine 10 arrived on scene with smoke showing from a second story window in an apartment building and pulled a 300 foot hose stretch while Engine 4 assisted with the water supply. Engine 8 conducted a primary search that proved negative. Crews got the fire under control and started overhaul. No injuries and the cause is under investigation.
