Aurora Attic Fire

On September 22nd, 2021 at 14:49 Aurora 911 Emergency Communications dispatched Aurora Fire Rescue to a working structure fire in the 19600 block of E. Bates Dr. in Seven Hills. Engine 10 arrived to a two-story single-family structure with smoke and flames showing from the Bravo side and pulled an attack line in for fire attack and control. Crews found fire in the attic space above the garage, and Ladder 6 assigned to primary search, and then went to the roof with Ladder 13. Engine 9 assisted with the water supply and then assisted Engine 10 with fire attack. Battalion Chief 2 arrived and assumed command. The fire was deemed under control at 15:30 and crews started overhaul. No injuries and the cause is under investigation.
