Aurora House Fire

On January 1st 2021 at 17:14 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in the 16200 block of E. Park Lane with multiple callers. Engine 3 arrived on scene to a two-story structure with a working fire from a shed in the back side of the home and possibly extending to the house, and pulled a attack in in. Ladder 2 started primary search and Engine 2 pulled a 2nd line in and assisted with fire attack. Battalion 1 arrived and assumed command. Crews got the fire fire under control and out quickly. The residents were displaced due to the smoke damage and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
