2nd Alarm Structure Fire

On October 16th, 2021 at approximately 02:40 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in a multi-family dwelling at Glen at the Park, 234 S. Jasper Circle. Firefighters arrived on scene and found fire on the third floor of the building and called for a second alarm. One person was rescued from the building and three people, including a juvenile, were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Crews were on scene about 90 minutes extinguishing the fire, ventilating the building and mopping up hot spots. The American Red Cross was called to assist displaced residents from twelve apartments. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
