Aurora Residential Structure Fire

On July 23rd, 2021 at approximately 15:55 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 2175 S. Joliet St. Firefighters arrived on scene and found heavy fire on the Charlie side of the residence. Crews spent about thirty minutes extinguishing the fire and another hour mopping up hot spots, checking for extension and ventilating the building. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
