Aurora Propane Fire

On June 4th, 2021 at approximately 15:00 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 17215 E. Wagon Trail Parkway. Engine 6 arrived on scene and found a propane tank on fire behind the residence. Engine 10 arrived on scene and established a water supply from a hydrant at a nearby corner. Crews spent about 30 minutes on scene keeping the tank cool until it emptied out. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to the residence and ensured the gas did not get inside. No injuries were reported.
