Denver High Rise Fire

At 19:29 on March 28th, 2021 Denver Fire Department responded to a possible high rise apartment fire with multiple calls in the 4200 block of Iowa Ave. in Virginia Village. Engine 24 arrived first on scene with nothing showing, went to the standpipe. Engine 19 arrived and assisted Engine 24 with stretching the attack line, and crews found smoke condition on floors 3 and 4. The fire was found on the 3rd floor, which was a room and contents fire and contained to one apartment. One victim treated for smoke inhalation.
