Denver Basement Fire

On February 28th, 2021 at 21:07 Denver Fire Department was alerted to a single-family structure fire with a possible person trapped in the 790 block of S. Wolff St. in the Westwood neighborhood. Engine 23 and Tower 23 arrived to a one-story single-family residential with heavy fire showing from the Bravo side. Engine 23 pulled a line in for fire attack to the basement and Tower 23 started the primary search. Engine 25 secured the water supply and pulled a back-up line in. Crews got the fire under control quickly and started overhaul. Two victims were treated with smoke inhalation and one transported to a local hospital. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
