South Metro Grass Fire

On July 22nd, 2021 at approximately 18:05 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported grass fire on S. Parker Rd at E. Parker Rd. Station 42 arrived on scene and quickly extinguished a small grass fire at the base of a utility pole. Firefighters suspect the fire was caused by a bird that landed on the wires above. No injuries were reported.
