Longmont Hay Bale Fire

On July 30th, 2021 at 17:35 Longmont Fire Department and Mountain View Fire Rescue responded to a stack of hay bales at N. 115th St. between Yellowstone Rd. & Wasatch Rd. Crews arrived and found fire from several hay bales with no structures threatened. The crew’s best plan of attack was to let it burn itself out.
