Loveland ARFF Training

During the week of July 26th, 2021 Loveland Fire Rescue Authority hosted Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) training for their firefighters and their response partners, Poudre Fire Authority and Windsor Severance Fire Rescue, that serve the Northern Colorado Regional Airport in Loveland. The training was done in preparation for October’s air show at the airport. Military aircraft familiarization classes were taught by Buckley Fire & Emergency Services personnel from Buckley Space Force Base in Aurora. Additionally, firefighters were able to get hands on F-16 emergency procedure training with the Air Force Thunderbirds ground crew members because the Thunderbirds were at the airport for their show in Cheyenne that week.
