Loveland Structure Fire

Around 01:10 on January 8th, 2021 Loveland Emergency Communications Center (LECC) dispatched Loveland Fire Rescue Authority Engine 41 to a smoke investigation in the area of 14th St. South East and South Lincoln Ave. Upon arrival Engine 41 reported a that they had a working structure fire in the 400 block of 14th St. South East and requested the balance for a working fire. Engine 41 reported they had fire on the Charlie side of a single-story residential building and pulled a 2-inch line to the front door and asked for the second due to pull an additional 2-inch line and to establish a water supply and to have the first due support unit conduct a primary search. Engine 41 stated the fire was an offensive life risk. The Engine 41 driver/operator stated there was extension to a camper parked on the Charlie side of the building and pulled an alley line to the Charlie side. Engine 43 arrived and pulled a second 2-inch line to the front door. Battalion 41 arrived and took command. Battalion 61 arrived and was assigned to the fire attack group with Engine 41 and Engine 43. Engine 43 deployed a fog nail to the roof from the alley line on the Charlie side and had good steam conversion. Rescue 42 arrived and was assigned support group with Tower 46. Paramedic 321 and Engine 61 arrived and staged. Engine 41 located the fire and had knock down on the Charlie side. Rescue 42 gave an all clear on primary search. When the fire was brought under control a fan was put at the door, salvage covers put in place and ceilings and drywall pulled to check for extension and hot spots. There were no injuries reported and the fire is under investigation.
