Out-of-Control Burn

On March 2nd 2021 Grand Junction Regional Communication Center dispatched Lower Valley Fire District Station 32 for a reported out-of-control agricultural fire between 10 Rd. and 9 Rd., just south of N. 9 Rd. in Mack. Station 31 and 32 responded and requested mutual-aid for a growing fire near houses. Crews setup structure protection around houses threatened. The fire was split into North and South Divisions overseen by Lieutenant and Chief 31. The size of the fire is unknown and no structures were damaged.
