Aurora National Night Out

The Aurora Police Department and Aurora Fire Rescue attended National Night Out on August 3rd, 2021 at Homestead Park in the Murphy Creek Subdivision. National Night Out is a community-police awareness-raising event held across the United States on the first Tuesday of August. Police Officers and Firefighters meet with community members, shared safety tips and showed off some of their apparatus. Aurora Police Chief Vanessa Wilson, SWAT officers, motor officers, the APD recruiter and Aurora Fire Engine 15 all participated in the event.
