North Metro House Fire

At 04:59 on April 7th, 2021 North Metro Fire Rescue District responded to a structure fire in the 100 block of Pike St. in Northglenn. Northglenn Police officers arrived and started evacuations. Engine 63 arrived to a small one-story home with a working fire, smoke and flames showing from the Charlie side, pulled 2 1/2 for primary search and fire control with Medic 63. Truck 62 secured the supply line and pulled additional line off Engine 63. Battalion 71 arrived and set-up command on the Alpha side. Crews got the fire extinguished with some extension into the garage area. No injuries were reported, but one cat did not survive the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
