Platteville Gilcrest Open House

The Platteville-Gilcrest Fire Protection District held an open house at Station 1 in Platteville on August 22nd, 2021. The community was invited to tour the new station, meet with firefighters, check out the apparatus, learn valuable safety information and enjoy lunch. The event featured smoke house trailer, fire extinguisher, CPR and vehicle extrication demonstrations. The Weld County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit and Med Evac also participated in the event.
