Security Garage Fire

At approximately 00:38 on February 9th, 2021 Security Fire Department, along with South Group response (Fountain Fire Protection District, Hanover Fire Department, and Stratmoor Hills Fire Department), received a call for a structure fire. Crews were on scene in 7 minutes and quickly determined the attached garage to the dwelling was fully involved. The fire was also making its way into the living area. Crews performed a rapid search for any possible victims and were informed all parties and pets were accounted for. Crews were able to get control of the blaze and keep it mainly to the garage. Unfortunately the home is currently uninhabitable dude to smoke and fire damage the American Red Cross is providing help to the displaced family and dogs. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. All information provided by Security Fire Department.
