
South Metro Prentice Avenue Structure Fire
South Metro Commercial Fire
On December 6th, 2021 at approximately 18:45 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported commercial structure fire at 8000 E. Prentice Ave. While en route, Battalion Chief 3 reported heavy black smoke and upgraded the call to a working structure fire. Units arrived on scene and found fire near a reception desk in a dental office. Crews spent about forty minutes extinguishing the fire and checking for extension in adjacent businesses. Firefighters were on scene another hour ventilating the structure and overhauling the impacted businesses. Two civilians were examined at the scene for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
