West Metro Vehicle Fire

At 15:33 on July 27th, 2021 West Metro Fire Rescue with Arvada Fire Protection District responded to a vehicle fire at W. 44th Ave. & Balsam St. in Wheat Ridge. Engine 16 arrived to one vehicle with fire showing and pulled a hand line off tank water for fire attack. Crews got the fire quickly out. Eastbound W. 44th Ave. was closed during fire operations, and no injuries were reported. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
