2022 Camp Ember

Camp Ember was held from June 2nd to June 5th, 2022, the 4 day, 3-night camp is an immersive free fire based camp offered to young women between the ages of 16 to 18 years-old for bold and bright futures. The camp is hosted by Red Rocks Community College, Arvada Fire Protection District, and West Metro Fire Rescue. The group is mentored by female firefighters from across the metro area. Campers learn a wide variety of skills such as search and rescue, hose handling, first aid, and more. Additional information provided by Arvada Fire Protection District
