Adams County Shed Fire

On May 26th at 09:18 Adams County Fire Rescue with Westminster Fire Department and Federal Heights Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the area of W. 65th Ave. and Lowell Blvd. Adcom 911 advised that a shed on fire in the field and threatening homes. Battalion 11 arrived with a working shed fire and assigned Engine 1 to proceed to the 6500 block of Newton St. for structure protection and Engine 1 secured their own water supply and pulled an attack line in. Engine 12 arrived and was assigned to enter the field to attack the structure with fencing starting to burn at the homes, Engine 12 with Medic 11 pulled 1 3/4 attack line. Engine 41 arrived and assigned to assist Engine 1 with structure protection on Newton St. The fire was quickly extinguished and crews started overhaul and the investigation.
