Arvada Structure Fire

On April 18th, 2022 at 07:08 Arvada Fire Protection District with auto-aid from West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a possible structure fire in the 6700 block of W. 54th Place. Medic 51 arrived to a small single-story residential structure with a working fire on the Alpha side with all occupants safely out. Engine 51 arrived with smoke from the eves and pulled a 1 3/4 for fire attack, search rescue and fire control in the offensive strategy with Medic 51. Battalion 51 arrived and assumed command and assigned Truck 54 with ventilation. Engine 16 arrived and established the water supply from W. 54th Ave. & Pierce St. and Medic 16 assigned as medical. Rescue 52 assigned with the primary search and Tower 56 as RIT. Crews worked fire in the attic space before getting the fire under control at 07:28. No injuries were reported, and the cause is under investigation. The American Red Cross was requested to provide resources to those displaced by the fire.
