Arvada Apartment Fire

At 20:15 on September 28th, 2022 Arvada Fire Protection District and Fairmount Fire Protection District responded to a reported structure fire in the 10900 block of W. 64th Ave. Engine 56 arrived to a medium size three-story apartment building with smoke showing, pulled a line in for fire attack and search in the offensive strategy with Medic 56. Engine 56 secured their own water supply and Engine 53 pulled a 2nd line to the second floor. Battalion 52 arrived and assumed command and assigned Truck 54 as RIT, Truck 31 with roof ops and ventilation and Medic 52 as medical group. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and all occupants of the building were safely evacuated. The cause of the fire is under investigation. American Red Cross was requested to assist displaced occupants. Additional information provided by Arvada Fire Protection District
