Aurora Commercial Fire

On May 22nd, 2022 at 11:20 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported commercial structure fire at Extra Space Storage, 14500 E. Crestline Drive. Firefighters arrived on scene and found smoke coming from the roof. Three ladder trucks were utilized to access the roof. Crews spent about two hours on scene extinguishing the fire, which was in solar panels on the roof and ventilating the three-story structure. There was no extension inside the business. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
