Aurora Structure Fire
On July 29th, 2022 at approximately 03:35 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 16330 E. Radcliff Place. Units arrived on scene within minutes of the call and found heavy fire on the back side of the residence. Firefighters rescued one person from the home who was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Crews spent about thirty minutes battling the blaze and then another hour on scene checking for hot spots and mopping up. An underground gas line melted during the fire forcing the evacuation and examination of neighboring units. Xcel was on scene most of the morning repairing the line. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
