Aurora Vegetation Fire

On August 10th, 2022 at approximately 20:00 Aurora Fire Rescue and Buckley Fire & Emergency Services were dispatched to a vegetation fire along E. Jewell Ave. west of E-470. Initial reports advised that the fire was fairly large and moving quickly towards the Base. Brush trucks from both departments flooded the area and were able to extinguish the fire fairly quickly. Firefighters remained on scene about 45 more minutes mopping up hot spots. No injuries were reported.

Buckley: Chief 2, Crash 2 & Tender 8
