Iliff Ave. Dispatch upgraded the call to a working structure fire based on reports of smoke within the strip mall. Firefighters arrived on scene and found smoke coming from a vent. Crews spent about 30 minutes searching for the source and ventilating the building. Firefighters determined that burning wires in an air conditioner caused the smoke. No injuries were reported.
