Boulder County Grass Fire

At 17:20 on April 19th, 2022 Boulder County fire crews responded to the area of N. 41st St. and Oxford Rd. for a reported grass fire. Winds were calmer than they were earlier in the day during the Tally Ho Trail Grass Fire and firefighters were able to quickly catch the fire before entering the NOAA test facility property to the east. The fire burned around 4 acres and one shed was lost. Investigators determined that the fire was accidentally started by a contractor that was working in the area.
