West Metro Structure Fire

At 21:49 on February 24th, 2022 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a possible structure fire in the 1400 block of S. Teller St. in Lakewood. Jeffcom advised that Lakewood Police officers on scene reporting fire showing from the garage with 2 vehicles in the driveway and all occupants were out of the house. Engine 8 arrived on scene to a medium size single-story single-family with a working fire, pulled 1 3/4 for fire attack with Tower 8 in the offensive strategy on the Alpha side. Engine 3 arrived and secured the water supply to Engine 8. District 2 arrived and took command, and assigned Engine 1 as RIT and Rescue 10 with primary search. One resident was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and command requested additional medic to the scene. The fire was put under control at 22:16 and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information was provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
