Louisville Trash Fire

Just before 13:30 on September 21st, 2022 Boulder County Communications (1800) alerted Louisville Fire Protection District Engine 2703 of a trash truck with its contents on fire at CTC Blvd. and Boxelder St. in the Colorado Tech Center area of Louisville. The fire was directly across the street from Louisville Fire Station 3. Engine 2703 responded, and Battalion 2760 attached to the call and responded. Engine 2703 arrived to a trash truck that dumped it’s load with its contents was on fire. Crews pulled a 1 3/4 line in for fire attack. Battalion 2760 arrived on scene and assumed command. The driver was not injured. When the fire was put out, Waste Management took over the scene.
