Station 62 Open House

The North Metro Fire Rescue District held a community open house on June 14th, 2022 at the newly remodeled Station 62, 10550 Huron St. in Northglenn. The community came out to tour the station, learn about CPR, enjoy hot dogs with the firefighters and several kids activities. Also, on display the emergency vehicles at the station including Truck 62, which is a 2019 Pierce Velocity 107 foot Ascendant heavy duty ladder which is one of the first of its kind to serve in Colorado, featuring rear steering that allows the truck to make tighter turns, necessary in newer developments. Battalion Chief 62 and Medic 62 are also located at this station. Station 62 was originally built in 1967, remodeled in 1989 and in 2019 and is the former West Adams County Fire Department Station & Headquarters.
