North Metro House Fire

On May 27th, 2022 at 14:10 North Metro Fire Rescue District, Thornton Fire Department and Westminster Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 11800 block of Humboldt Drive in Northglenn. Engine 63 arrived to a small single-story single-family home with active fire from the Alpha side and pulled a 1 3/4 attack line in the offensive strategy. Truck 74 arrived and started the primary search and pulled a second line in. Battalion 71 assumed Humboldt command and assigned Engine 75 with the water supply to Engine 63. Medic 6 arrived and assigned to assist Engine 63 with fire attack and Medic 62 with medical. Crews were able to contain the fire to the garage and a portion of the attic. Two residents were home when the fire started and were able to get out unharmed. The cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by North Metro Fire Rescue District
