Commercial Vehicle Fire

On May 18th, 2022 at approximately 15:15 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a commercial vehicle fire on E. Hampden Ave. at S. Liverpool St. Firefighters arrived on scene and found a full-size semi smoking on the side of the road. The truck, belonging to Mr. Bult’s Inc, was loaded with trash. Crews spent about thirty minutes extinguishing the fire in the trash and then escorted the vehicle to the Waste Management Denver Arapahoe Disposal Site Landfill to ensure the fire did not flare up again. No injuries were reported.
