The First Responder Recruiting Event hosted by the The City of Thornton was held an on May 14th. 2022 at the Fossil Ridge Public Safety Center, 13150 Quebec St. Members from the Thornton Fire Department, Thornton Police Department and Thornton Communications Center were on hand to talk to the community from firefighters, police officers, dispatchers and other first responders to learn more about becoming a first responder for the City of Thornton from K-9, SWAT, firefighters, paramedics, technical rescue, emergency dispatchers and more. Vehicles from police, tactical and fire were also on display. The Northglenn Police Department also participated in the event.
