Thornton House Fire

On May 26th, 2022 at 18:06 Thornton Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire in the 15600 block of Josephine St. SAM 61 arrived to a small two-story residential with smoke showing from the 2nd floor. Engine 75 arrived and pulled a 1 3/4 to the Alpha side with Medic 75 for fire attack in the offensive strategy. Engine 66 arrived and assigned with primary search on the main floor and Truck 74 primary of the basement. Battalion 71 arrived and assumed command and assigned Medic 74 as rehab. Crews got the fire out within 20 minutes and crews started overhaul. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
