Station 1 Open House

On June 11th, 2022 Windsor Severance Fire Rescue hosted their annual open house at Station 1 in Windsor, visitors were able to interact with firefighters, EMS providers, and local law enforcement agencies. A live fire presentation in sprinkled and un-sprinkled burn cells was done by the National Fire Sprinkler Association. Poudre Valley REA did a high voltage demonstration using their life size trailer. Younger visitors were able to spray water with a fire hose and nozzle and learned to stay low when encountering smoke in a building. And lunch was provided too.
