Aurora Structure Fire

On May 16th, 2023 at approximately 13:15 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in the 4700 block of S. Danube Circle. The homeowner reported that a solar panel on top of his garage caught on fire and it was spreading to the roof. Engine 10 arrived on scene and extinguished the fire very quickly with an extinguisher. Crews spent about thirty minutes checking for extension to the residence and mopping up. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
