Second Alarm Commercial Fire

On May 1st, 2023 at 16:00 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported commercial structure fire at 2620 S. Parker Rd. Units arrived on scene to a large three-story commercial building with nothing showing from the outside. Engine 11 made entry and found light smoke on the second story.  Upon further investigation, Engine 11 found smoke coming from an second story office and the call was upgraded to a working structure fire. Two units were found to be well involved, prompting Battalion 2 to upgrade the fire to a second alarm. Units were on scene about an hour extinguishing the fire, checking for extension and ventilating the building. No injuries were reported and two offices were damaged in the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
