South Metro Garage Appliance Fire

On July 10th, 2023 at approximately 11:55 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 5651 S. Hannibal Way in Centennial. Engine 23 arrived on scene and found light smoke coming from the garage. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish an applicant fire in the garage and then spent about fifteen minutes ventilating the building and checking for extension. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
