Denver Structure Fire

On July 11th, 2023 at 11:16 Denver Fire Department responded to a possible structure fire in the 200 block of S. Bannock St. Engine 11 arrived to find fire in the alley west of Bannock St. from a small garage-outbuilding structure, laid in from W. Cedar Ave. and position in the alley and pulled a 1 3/4 line in for fire attack. Engine 1 laid in from S. Bannock St. and Alameda Ave. with Engine 16 picking up their line. Rescue 1 positioned by Engine 1 on W. Byers Place. Crews got a quick knockdown and little overhaul was needed. The cause is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
