Independence Day Parade

The Highlands Ranch Metro District and Highland Ranch Community Association held their annual Independence Day Parade on July 4th, 2023 in the vicinity of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Substation on Zotos Drive. Several dozen community groups donned their finest red, white and blue apparel to help celebrate America’s 247th birthday. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Douglas County Open Space and Natural Resources Mounted Patrol, Douglas County Search & Rescue and South Metro Fire Rescue were participants in the parade.
