Vehicle into Building

On June 19th, 2023 at 18:47 West Metro Fire Rescue Truck 14 responded to a reported gas leak at the Village at Dakota in the 9000 block of W. Phillips Drive. Truck 14 arrived to to a ruptured gas line and requested a full response. With further investigation crews found that a vehicle went into a building and cut two gas lines that firefighters that quickly shut down. District 3 arrived and assumed command and requested the collapse rescue and cancelled the rest of the response. The garage on one townhome was damaged and West Metro’s Technical Rescue Team worked to shore up and secure the property. No injuries were reported.
