On September 9th, 2023 at 17:06 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle fire in the 12300 block of Ohio Circle. in Lakewood. Jeffcom 911 advised 911 caller reporting the vehicle on fire is starting the garage on fire and Engine 4 upgraded the call to a full response. District 2 arrived in command to a fully involved vehicle with a single-story small residential as the exposure. Engine 4 pulled 1 3/4 for fire attack and Engine 3 secured the water supply to Engine 4. Crews got the fire under control quickly and kept the fire from spreading to the nearby structures. One person had minor injuries and was treated and released. The fire was a gasoline flash fire due to smoking. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
