On May 19th, 2023 South Metro Fire Rescue Fire Academy 23-1 held their “Hell Night”. The recruits staffed 11 rigs and responded to dozens of calls during the day until about midnight. These calls included structure, dumpster, vehicle, and wildland fires, vehicle extrications, various medical calls, and more. These recruits have been working hard for 14 weeks, and are just weeks away from graduation.
