Thornton Deck Fire

On November 20th, 2023 at 11:52 Thornton Fire Department, North Metro Fire Rescue District, Westminster Fire Department, South Adams County Fire Department and Adams County Fire Rescue responded to a possible structure fire in the 4200 block of E. 100th Ave. in the Pine Lakes Ranch manufactured home community. Engine 71 arrived and found fire was under a deck and and Battalion 71 arrived and assumed command. The fire was put under control quickly and all the rest of the response was cancelled. The fire was was likely caused by improper disposal of smoking material. Additional information provided by Thornton Fire Department
