On March 13th at 13:09 Westminster Fire Department and Thornton Fire Department were dispatched to W. 93rd Ave. & Sheridan Blvd. for a vehicle accident with extraction needed. Engine 4 arrived on scene to a two-vehicle accident with one party trapped inside one vehicle and requested additional engine for extraction. Engine 12 arrived and assisted with extraction of the two patients. Medic 72 arrived and transported one with unknown injuries. Sheridan Blvd. was closed in both directions for a short time. This incident was dispatched just after a structure fire that Westminster was working at W. 80th Ave. & Grove St. and thus for the unusual unit dispatch.
