I-70 Semi Fire

On July 31st, 2023 at 17:58 Arvada Fire Protection District and West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a semi on fire eastbound I-70 mile marker 265 at the W. 38th Ave. in Wheat Ridge. Rescue 52 arrived to semi with the rear breaks on fire just before the Colorado 58 on ramp and pulled a bumper line for fire attack and Engine 17 set-up for traffic safety. Crews got the fire under control quickly and started overhaul. No injures were reported.
