Adams County Accident

On December 9th, 2024 just after 16:00 Adams County Fire Rescue responded to a reported unknown injury accident on I-76 eastbound at Pecos St. Engine 11 arrived with one fully involved vehicle and one patient on the ground and started the investigation. Crews found a lithium-ion battery fire from the electric vehicle and got the fire controlled quickly. Medic 12 transported one patient with minor injuries to a local hospital. I-76 from Pecos St. to I-25 was closed for several hours. Additional information provided by Adams County Fire Rescue
