Adams County Vehicle Fire

On June 7th, 2024 at 14:15 Adcom911 dispatched Adams County Fire Rescue to a vehicle on fire at 7000 Washington St. Truck 14 arrived to a fully involved vehicle with high winds that spread the fire to a nearby brush that was next to the vehicle and pulled a 1 3/4 for fire attack. Battalion 11 arrived and assumed command and requested additional engines to the scene with the high winds threatening a commercial structure. Engine 23 arrived and assisted with fire attack on the bushes and Engine 12 secured the water supply to Truck 14. Washington St. was closed in both directions during the fire. No one was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information provided by Adams County Fire Rescue
